FORT MYERS, Fla. - iSportsWire -- Athletes Activating Champions and Empowerment (AACE) is launching Game Changers, a free virtual Zoom series designed to inspire, support and guide middle and high school students and young athletes. The first session will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 6 p.m. Eastern time, with additional sessions scheduled every six weeks.

Game Changers offers students the chance to connect with athletes and leaders who share authentic stories of resilience, balance and personal growth. The goal is to provide relatable role models who can help students see the challenges they face in school, sports and life are not unique – and that there are proven ways to overcome them.

Several key themes will be discussed during the series including:

• Mental Biases in School and Sports: How common thinking traps influence judgment, confidence and teamwork.
• Personal Growth and Performance: Handling pressure, building resilience and balancing multiple commitments.
• How to Handle Social Media: Staying positive online, avoiding harmful comparisons and using platforms to uplift others.
• Life Skills and Habits: Nutrition, sleep, time management and character building.
• Mental Health and Well-Being: Coping with stress, anxiety, criticism and self-doubt.

Each Game Changers session will feature guest speakers: athletes and leaders who bring their own experiences and insight to the conversation.

• Domenico Geminiani, professional golfer, two-time PGA National Assistant Champion and community advocate with more than 40 professional wins.
• Ronan Camron, professional pickleball player from Fort Myers, ranked among the top 30 in the world, who emphasizes leadership, fitness and building confidence.

These speakers – and others to follow – bring diverse perspectives from different sports and experiences, creating a wide-ranging conversation to which students can relate.

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will be present at each session, providing insight, strategies and resources that complement the experiences and stories shared by our guest speakers.

Today's students face more pressure than ever, from academics and athletics to the constant presence of social media. Game Changers provides a free, open space where students can learn from those who have walked the same path, while gaining strategies for resilience, leadership and success.
