D.C.'s Kuteyi, Chicago's Craig Win Decisive Matchups; 'Standing Six' Cities to Square Off June 12
ORLANDO, Fla. - iSportsWire -- Teams of 1v1 hoopsters representing Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Miami, New York, and Washington, D.C. advanced at "OBL: Battle of the Cities," the first of three Championship events for Tracy McGrady's Ones Basketball League (OBL), held Friday at Oak Ridge High School. The teams of four 1v1 standouts battled it out in front of an enthusiastic crowd and nationwide audience on Fubu Sports Network and YouTube.
D.C. scored the highest total with 28 points, followed by Miami with 27, Chicago (24), Baltimore (23), and Atlanta (21). New York and Orlando tied with 16, with the Big Apple gaining the sixth and final spot by point differential. Raleigh, N.C. trailed with 14.
In two of the featured matchups, Kevin "Uncle Skoob" Kuteyi (Washington, D.C.) topped DJ Waters (Atlanta) and Yoshi Craig (Chicago) upended Isaiah "Leaky Roof" Brown (New York).

"Tonight's competition exemplifies what OBL can be," said McGrady. "The competitive spirit these guys showed in every 1v1 battle made for an entertaining night for the fans on hand and viewers on stream, as well as some great highlights for social media."
The six teams advance to "Standing 6," set for June 12 and four will move on to "For the Throne," July 1 finals.
