MIAMI - iSportsWire -- Autism Soccer, LL announces its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Autism Soccer. The tournament will be held on October 24th, 2024, at the Miami Shores Country Club. The proceeds from this tournament will go toward the Autism Soccer World Cup Brazil in 2025. This exciting tournament will bring together children and young people with autism worldwide. Organized by Autism Soccer in collaboration with its international franchise partners, this event aims to celebrate the passion for football and inclusion.

Since its inception in 2012, the Autism Soccer Foundation has grown remarkably, expanding to six countries to offer soccer training tailored to autistic children. As of 2023, the organization has served more than 25,000 children, standing out as a beacon of hope and transformation in the quest to address autism through the power of sports. Our goal is to double that number in the next five years.

Globally, it is estimated that 1 in 100 people are on the autism spectrum. In the United States, these numbers are even higher: one in every 36 children is diagnosed with autism. This situation creates a high demand for autism-related services in the behavioral health industry but often exceeds the supply of providers. Autism Soccer contributes to closing this opportunity gap by promoting the inclusion of children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through teaching soccer skills in an environment of support, understanding, and love.
