NAPLES, Fla. - iSportsWire -- Boys & Girls Club of Collier County is hosting a free luncheon on Oct. 5 to kick off the nonprofit's annual Great Futures campaign.
The Great Futures Start Here Luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at Boys & Girls Club's Nichols Campus, 7500 Davis Blvd. in Naples. The annual event, which is sponsored by the Naples Daily News and PNC Financial Services, features lunch provided by the club's Blue CanTEEN food truck, networking and opportunities to hear how the club helps children and teens reach their full potential. The luncheon attracts donors, supporters, community members, business partners, government leaders and club alumni.
Lawrence Joseph, a senior at Immokalee High School, will deliver the keynote address. Joseph has been a member of the Bolch Campus in Immokalee for seven years and is pursuing culinary arts training at Immokalee Technical College.
Club programs focus on six core areas, including education, career development, character and leadership, health and wellness, the arts, and sports and recreation.
