BUFFALO, N.Y. - iSportsWire -- Buffalo film producers Scott Rubin, J. Garrett Vorreuter and Gregory Lamberson will host a unique online telethon to raise funds for their upcoming comedy about Buffalo football fans, UNBILLIEVABLE! The trio has been crowdfunding the film on Indiegogo.com for just under one month and see the telethon as a dynamic climax to their campaign. The First Annual UNBILLIEVABLE! Telethon will air on YouTube, Facebook Live and Instagram this Friday, March 3rd from 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm. It will be followed by The Second Annual UNBILLIEVABLE! Telethon on Saturday, March 4th, from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.

The scrappy event will be hosted by Rubin, the longest serving Editor-in-Chief of National Lampoon and the screenwriter/co-director of UNBILLIEVABLE!

The film tells the story of three generations of Buffalo football fans reuniting under one roof to host a watch party when the Bills make it to the Big Game world championship. Naturally, everything goes wrong. Rubin and Vorreuter are co-directing Rubin's screenplay and are co-producing with Lamberson.

The Buffalo-based producers have raised over $19,000 for their film on Indiegogo.com.  For the telethon, they plan to showcase Buffalo talent of all stripes: actors, comedians, singers, jugglers, Bills Mafia super fans, fashion designers and special guest stars.

"This is a historic comedy event," declares Lamberson without a trace of irony. "Nothing like it has ever been done before in the annals of crowdfunding no-budget movies. We're breaking down walls where others fear to tread!"

Details for The First Annual UNBILLIEVABLE! Telethon and The Second Annual UNBILLIEVABLE! Telethon will be posted on the film's Indiegogo campaign page: https://igg.me/at/Unbillievable/x/31558907#/.
