Rising senior Business Administration major earns Honor representing achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball players

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - iSportsWire -- Caldwell University rising senior forward Derrick Bueno (Palisades Park, N.J.) has earned recognition on the 2023-24 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, representing achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball players, the organization announced today,

Bueno, a Business Administration major with a 3.27 GPA, also earned CACC Academic Honor Roll status this spring as a junior. He was equally successful on the court, selected to the CACC All-Conference Third Team after posting career-best marks of 15.0 points (11th CACC), 7.6 rebounds (eighth) and assists (2.0) while placing third in the league in points per 40 minutes (25.7) and fifth in rebounds per 40 minutes (13.0).

The Roselle Catholic HS graduate enters his senior season with 910 career points and 504 career rebounds.
