TORONTO - iSportsWire -- Former NHL goalie Clint Malarchuck joined the Vancouver podcast I Only Touch Greatness to talk about hockey and his mental health with the guys from the show. Clint talks about draft day and how he jokes about being traded for Joe Sakic, He tells the guys of the show a good story about Rob Ray constantly picking his nose and being told to stop.

The hosts of the show was very hesitant to talk about the time while he was playing goalie and the skate cut his throat, blood spraying all over the ice. He was the most scared to have him mother watch that on tv so he got up and tried to skate to the bench after that so he didnt die on national tv. He then breaks down tying to kill himself and why he did it. They get into quite the talk about mental health and concussions and the effects of CTE and what it does to the people after a concussion. He then tells a good story about time that John Tortarella went into the calgary flames hallway trying to fight people after the brawl on the ice, and how he got in big trouble from that incident and went after John Tortarella before being held back.
