DANBURY, Conn. - iSportsWire -- City dignitaries and local business leaders will join the Entertainment Football Association, Danbury, to announce its team name and logo.

Launching in May 2025, the ENTFLA is a four-team professional arena football league with teams in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Led by pro football Hall-of-Famer Andre Reed, the ENTFLA is high-level, fast-paced football with high-scoring, physical games.

In preparation for the selection, Danbury residents were asked to submit suggestions for a team name, theme, logo and colors from June 13 to July 1, 2024.

WHY: Football remains an undeniable crowd favorite, drawing in an increasing number of viewers yearly. This year's NFL kickoff game saw a 22.7% increase in peak viewership compared to last year's game (55.6M in 2024 vs 45.3M in 2023).

ENTFLA is a startup arena football league that adds entertainers and concert performances to the football experience. Surrounded by entertainment, the football games are sandwiched between a pre-game tailgate event and a high-level post-game concert.
