WASHINGTON - iSportsWire -- ALIVE Podcast Network has announced its first event as a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador to commemorate International Women's Day. The Dare To Be ALIVE event is one of many celebrations hosted by the 2023 cohort of Google Women Techmakers, who will host events worldwide with the theme "Dare To Be," empowering its community to have courage, to dream big and to be bold. The celebratory event will take place in late March.
The Dare To Be ALIVE Event is a collaboration between ALIVE Podcast Network, Google Women Techmakers and The Woman Behind the Business and will consist of engaging workshops, networking, and honest conversations about the communication divide between start-up founders and techies. The event will feature a 30-minute fireside chat and panel discussion moderated by Data Consultant Christine Amuzie and inspiring talks with speakers and panelists Angel N. Livas, Founder of ALIVE Podcast Network, Nivia Henry, Spotify Director of Engineering, and Melanie Akwule, Founder of MINWO. These women are all tech developers, career leaders, and start-up company founders.

"The definition of dare is to have the courage to try something new; to defy or challenge norms; to be brave and willing to take risks," Angel Livas, Founder of ALIVE Podcast Network, states. "Our goal is to create solutions for founders to clearly articulate their expectations with developers and for developers to establish protocols to evaluate if their understanding of projects is on par with their clients…or even team members."
The Dare To Be ALIVE Event and Networking Reception will be held at the Google Washington DC Office on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 6 -9 pm EDT.
