NEW YORK - iSportsWire -- Jazz fusion drummer Bob Holz has been nominated for a Syracuse Area Music Award. The SAMMY Award Show is a prestigious event held at The Palace Theater in Syracuse, NY on March 7th, 2025. Holz's 2024 album Night Watch has been nominated in the Best Jazz category. Night Watch(MVD Audio) which features Ralphe Armstrong, Alex Machacek, Billy Steinway and Brandon Fields was recorded at Catalina Jazz in Hollywood, California and has enjoyed extensive airplay and was reviewed in Downbeat Magazine's September 2024 issue.
In the past Bob has won the SAMMY  Award twice.

Holz is  represented by SoVibe Entertainment, a jazz booking agency out of Miami, Florida. Bob is a long standing endorser of Paiste cymbals, Canopus drums and Ahead drumsticks. He has released seven albums on MVD Audio.
