Local Queens Handball Player, Josef Gotsch Travels to Las Vegas for Championship Tournament

LAS VEGAS - iSportsWire -- Josef Gotsch is a professional handball player out of Queens, NY. Gotsch has been training tirelessly throughout the current pandemic, as well as many years before, to prepare for multiple tournaments he has each year. Gotsch has already received multiple achievements and has hopes to add Vegas 3WallBall Champion to his accomplishments.

Josef Gotsch originally grew up playing soccer and baseball, like most young kids, he started with the basic sports everyone knew. However, once he played handball, he knew that he had found his passion. From then on, he has competed in multiple tournaments all around the world and has won many different titles throughout his career. Gotsch has placed third in the 3 Wall X Games and the London Opens, is a five-time champion at the Open 4 Wall Championships and has come in first and third at the Handball World Championship. Gotsch's first time to compete at worlds he placed third, and has continued to succeed.

While waiting for the 2021 World Championship, Gotsch is traveling to Vegas on October 14th to participate in the 11th Annual 3WallBall World Championship. There will be plenty of action at the 3WallBall Championship, as it is the largest outdoor tournament in Vegas, with over 600 athletes competing. The event will have sports such as racquetball, paddleball and of course handball.

The four-day tournament runs October 15th-18th. Gotsch is traveling from Queens, NY in hopes of competing all three days, and winning the whole tournament in the handball portion.
