AUSTIN, Texas - iSportsWire -- Matt Kiatipis is most commonly known as a YouTube Basketball Player. He played 1 season in the NCAA Division 2 for Simon Fraser University in the GNAC Conference. After one season in the NCAA, he signed to FIBA Basketball agent Soritis Liomas of Elite Basketball Agents and he was drafted to Asociación Greiga De Baloncesto of Costa Rica's Primary Professional Basketball League. In his first season of professional basketball in Costa Rica he averaged 22.5 Ppg, 5.8 RPG, & 3.3 apg. He was named to the All LSB (Liga Superior De Baloncesto) 2nd Team. Following his season in Costa Rica, he began to make YouTube videos in which he "Took Over" several park basketball courts in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After many YouTube video successes' with him and the "Trouble Team" with members such as K showtime, Ghrizzz, Mayo, & Frosty, Matt embraced the nickname "MK" and ventured out to America to continue to grow his YouTube channel. Since then he has partnered with many big celebrity names such as Tayler Holder, the Dobre Brothers, Bone Collector, 24K Golden, Nick Briz, D'Vontay Friga, Chris Staples, & many more.

Matt Kiatipis grew up in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. A smaller town in Ontario a part of the York Region Municipality that has produced some elite athletes such as Andrew Wiggins, Kevin Pangos, Andre De Grasse, and many more. Matt Kiatipis attended Holland Landing Public School where he broke several Track And Field/Basketball Records leading him to the start of a successful High school sports career at Sacred Heart Catholic High School. As an all-region athlete for the Crusaders, he led his team to the regional championships 2 years in a row where they become finalists against Vaughan Secondary School. Following basketball season, Kiatipis competed in OFSAA (Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations) Track and field championships. Matt placed 4th in the 400m championship.

After Kiatipis' sophomore year in Canada, he transferred to Cape Fear Academy in North Carolina. He reclassified and spent his Sophomore, Junior & Senior year in Wilmington North Carolina at Cape Fear Academy. As a multi-sport athlete, Kiatipis won the 100m, 200m & 400m track and field state championship races.

Matt Kiatipis' YouTube career took off in September of 2021 when he released a series of viral basketball videos. Known as "Park Takeovers", Kiatipis would go to parks across Toronto, Canada, and make YouTube videos.
