LOS ANGELES - iSportsWire -- Scientology Media Productions earned Platinum at the 2025 dotCOMM Awards for an episode of Meet a Scientologist featuring leather artisans Iccio and Michele Leonelli. The episode was recognized in the Fashion and Lifestyle Video category.
The dotCOMM Awards is an international competition celebrating the best in digital communication and creativity. Judged by industry leaders spanning marketing, communications, advertising and media production, the awards highlight innovation and excellence.
Modena-born artisan Iccio Leonelli revolutionized luxury leather with his groundbreaking "Mestizo" process, blending color and texture to create striking, one-of-a-kind finishes. Today, he works alongside his son, Michele, to carry forward Italy's legacy of craftsmanship and innovation. Their work is prized by top fashion houses worldwide. Reflecting on his craft, Iccio says, "Every day I come to work, I have the idea to create something new. My job is continuous creation."
This Platinum distinction is among eight honors recognizing Scientology Media Productions at the 2025 dotCOMM Awards. Two of those honors went to Meet a Scientologist, bringing the series' total to 30 accolades.
