Ivan Carreon, who rewrote the Odessa High receiving record books with 192 career catches and 40 touchdowns, has entered the transfer portal after two seasons at Oklahoma and signed with Elite Athlete Marketing to navigate his next chapter.
OKLAHOMA CITY - iSportsWire -- Ivan Carreon has entered the transfer portal following his sophomore season at Oklahoma. The 6'6", 225-pound receiver who dominated Texas high school football as Odessa High's all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns has partnered with Elite Athlete Marketing as he searches for a program where his elite physical tools can translate into production.
Carreon finished his high school career with 192 receptions for 3,315 yards and 40 touchdowns—all school records. His junior season produced 51 catches for 1,168 yards and 19 touchdowns at 22.9 yards per reception. As a senior, he added 1,033 receiving yards and 19 scores while earning first-team all-district honors.

At Oklahoma, playing time came in limited doses. Carreon appeared in 11 games as a freshman with 10 catches for 89 yards. His sophomore season brought just two catches for 35 yards, though his 32-yard long reception showed flashes of his downfield ability.
At 6'6" with legitimate size, Carreon represents the kind of red zone mismatch every offense wants. The partnership with Elite Athlete Marketing provides professional representation as he navigates the portal, including cinematic content production, custom player websites, and nationwide article distribution.
With three years of eligibility remaining, Carreon enters the portal as one of the more intriguing physical specimens available. His next stop will determine whether he becomes the dominant red zone threat his high school film promised.
