WESTMINSTER, U.K. - iSportsWire -- RedNote, one of China's leading lifestyle and social commerce platforms, has expanded enforcement actions targeting AI-generated misinformation and irregular business accounts, according to platform notices issued in Shanghai in March.
The measures follow a campaign launched in February focusing on the creation and spread of false or misleading commercial information using artificial intelligence tools. According to the platform, more than 800 pieces of violating content and 11 accounts were handled during the initial phase.
RedNote said the violations included fabricated claims about company performance and product quality, coordinated negative content targeting businesses, and the large-scale generation of misleading posts using AI tools. Some cases involved duplicated content designed to amplify false narratives and influence user perception.

In a separate disclosure, the platform said it had also removed 12,863 posts, 98,741 comments, 11 topics and 142 accounts as part of broader enforcement actions involving harmful or misleading content.
The company also outlined measures targeting irregular activity in the real estate sector. It said it had identified improper registration and use of professional business accounts in breach of platform rules, with a number of accounts suspended and warnings issued to operators. Further violations may result in permanent bans.
RedNote said the actions form part of wider efforts to strengthen platform governance and maintain order across content and commercial activity. The announcements come amid increasing regulatory focus in China on AI-generated content, platform responsibility and online commercial practices.
