2023 -NBA 2k tournament sabotaged: the NBA shut down the Naismith NBA 2k tournament projected to raise in one weekend over $500,000,000.00 in fundraising dollars and lied, claiming 2k sports dismissed it, but we have proof in writing that it was the NBA's decision.

2024-The Naismith family's betrayal: Mr. Michael Roech, Mr. Joe Paysinger and Mr. Jim Naismith/ Naismith legacy secretly rebranded the Naismith good sportsmanship award into the "Naismith legacy award", cutting NIBF out and violating prior agreements.

Financial & reputational sabotage: over $172m lost due to intentional blocking of partnerships, sponsorships, and licensing opportunities that would have honored basketball's true roots. Not including the potential of $500,000,000.00 from the 2k event!

2021 Ignored & stonewalled by major basketball institutions:
The NBA, basketball hall of fame, and YMCA, FIBA etc. Etc., have deliberately refused to work with NIBF, despite using Dr. James Naismith's name for their own benefit. We have proposed the 75th anniversary award that is the biggest in sports history and they refused- with no explanation?
