THUNDERBALL was originally created in Canada many years ago and was originally called "MURDERBALL"  A group of wheel chair athletes picked up the game and It once again became very popular.

There was actually a full length movie made of the sport which was declared the "Best Sports Film in History" by Rotten Tomatoes. It was also covered by. a full segment of 60 Minutes on CBS.

It became so popular that it was picked up as a game by the Olympic Committee who renamed it "WHEEL CHAIR RUGBY". It is now played by over 35 countries.

The creator of the game has also renamed the game THUNDERBALL and has totally restructured the new league known as NTL. (National Thunderball League). It has just made the announcement that the revenues from the television and "Live Streaming" license fees will be shared with all registered THUNDERBALL Players and Team owners.
