SEWELL, N.J. - iSportsWire -- Today, the Young Kings and BioSteel Sports Nutrition Inc. (BioSteel) announced a partnership, naming BioSteel the official partner of the Young Kings organizations.  This milestone partnership will take place immediately, with BioSteel branding debuting on all Young Kings athletes' uniforms.  The agreement provides BioSteel product placement rights, and community engagement across the Young Kings community to bring the message of "Clean.  Healthy. Hydration." to athletes.

BioSteel was born in a professional sports locker room when retired player, Michael Cammalleri, and his business partner John Celenza, set out to offer a "better-for-you" hydration option for athletes. The duo established a zero-sugar formula that features essential electrolytes and no artificial flavors or preservatives.  From there, the brand quickly became highly sought-after in professional sports, and can be found in locker rooms and sports fields throughout North America, most notably in professional hockey.

BioSteel has set out on a grassroots journey to engage youth athletes across North America, who are seeking a cleaner, healthier hydration option, and union with the Young Kings was a perfect partnership.   The Young Kings were founded by Two-Time Stanley Cup Champion Kris Versteeg, alongside his launch of Klevr.ai, an athletic platform that provides the tools for anyone to gain an edge.  Klevr.ai is a mobile app is available in the iOS app store and is centered around the company's mission to assist in the collective ability for athletes to play smarter.  The app allows players to capture important moments, clip them and share with their friends, families and coaches.

Having two kids in youth hockey, Kris formed the Young Kings out of Whitby, Ontario and has expanded the Young Kings brand across North America to now have organizations in Eastern Ontario, Montreal, Colorado and Philadelphia.  The teams now will partner with BioSteel to offer their youth athletes a "better-for-you" hydration option.
