BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - iSportsWire -- MDF Nation Foundation  will host the MDF Hoop House Tip-Off Classic on Saturday, November 7, at Tarrant High School. The event will feature eight high school girls' basketball teams competing in four games throughout the day.

The participating teams include Tarrant, Centerpoint, Woodlawn, Huffman, Hueytown, Clay-Chalkville, Ramsay, and Central Phenix City.

Coach Otis Leverette, founder of MDF Nation, said the event is an opportunity to bring schools and communities together while giving young female athletes a platform to showcase their talent.

"These young ladies work hard, and they deserve opportunities to compete, be recognized, and enjoy the game. We want to create an event that brings people together and gives girls' basketball the attention it deserves," said Leverette.

Tarrant High School Head Girls' Basketball Coach Brerante Sledge welcomed the opportunity to host the event.
